Children and politics
Children and young people under the age of 18 cannot vote. Yet they constitute one of the largest single blocks of citizens — more than twice the number of citizens of 65 years or older.
Everyday politicians, both national and local, make decisions that affect their lives without consulting them or providing the opportunity to participate in any way in the political process.
